So we are about to undergo Clint's LAST ROUND of
chemo during the last week of July! Clint is very happy about this, he is ready
to be done. He's been such a good sport and very strong throughout this whole
process. This is definitely something to celebrate. He is doing great, and he
will have an MRI done on August 1st. I will post an update with the results as
soon as we receive them. We are anticipating a good report! God has been so
faithful through everything, and I know He will be faithful through this
too.
On a side note, we have been doing our best to set goals for Clint, giving him things to look forward to. We did end up making a road trip to Portland this last Saturday, where my coworker Jennifer gave us a great tour around the city (one more goal to check off Clint's list!). We are hoping to send him home to New York to see his parents in a couple of months (maybe for Thanksgiving....he was supposed to spend it with them last year, but that is when we discovered the tumor, so he wasn't able to go). And Clint is very excited because he is planning on going to Israel next February with Vic and Rosie, some very close friends of ours. He is excited to see the historical places from the Bible, including Bethlehem, the birth place of Jesus, the Dead Sea, and hopes to get baptized in the Jordan River. I am excited for him to go (I will be home and working through the legislative session....fun).

Talk to you all again very soon!
Much love,
